Okay, what exactly is a Zoom Meeting Extra?
They’re just like the background extras we hire for shoots to literally be bodies to fill out scenes. In meetings, it’s the same thing.
Zoom meeting extras are those people who show up in meetings and say nothing. Thier only contribution was to unmute right at the end to say goodbye. Were they with the client? Or was that the Facebook brand rep? Maybe they were with media. Or the PR agency. Ugh, so hard to tell! But does it really matter? Next time you’re invited to a meeting you don’t really need to be in, but for some reason you NEED to attend it, slip into this passive-aggressive number and bam!
